I am a gay male therapist, public speaker, retreat facilitator, shamanic practitioner and performance artist. I firmly believe that each of us holds all of the answers that we need already within us, and I view my role as being someone who can assist and support you on your journey to remembering your true, authentic self.

My therapeutic areas of specialty include sex therapy, working with non-monogamous and polyamorous dynamics, psychedelic integration work, spiritually based therapy, unblocking creative/artistic expression, and men's emotional growth work. In addition, I am knowledgeable and affirming of LGBTQ+ and kink/BDSM identities.

A session with me can include education, meditation, attachment work and depth-oriented psychology, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, inner child and parts work, and insight based and solution focused therapies, and always includes common sense feedback and a dash of humor. However, I tailor my approach based on the specific goals and strengths of the client, and I aim to always create a safe space for you to fully explore and express what lives in your heart and soul.

I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) and PhD in Social Work from Rutgers University, and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey and a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York. I am a certified clinical social work supervisor, and am able to provide supervision to social workers seeking clinical licensure as well as ongoing supervision to current LCSWs. I have received advanced training in sex therapy, trauma informed therapy, somatic experiencing, LGBTQ+ concerns, and shamanic based spirituality. I work with adult clients seeking individual, couples/non-monogamous, and group therapy.

I value the role of education both in my therapy sessions and to the community at large. I have taught several graduate level courses at Rutgers University on topics related to grief and loss, chronic illness and disability, LBGTQ matters, and human behavior in the social environment. I have provided extensive workshops and training on transgender/gender spectrum related care, ethical non-monogamy and polyamory, and BDSM/kink related topics. I am happy to provide education and training to community and professional organizations, as well as collaboration on research for publication and presentation.
